CAC's Home at 117 Summit Avenue
On January 17, 2017, CAC moved from it's home of over 50 years at 101 Summit Avenue to it's newly renovated home at 117 Summit Avenue. Thank you to the many community donors who helped make CAC's new home possible.
CAC PROVIDES A WIDE ARRAY OF SERVICES
Rather than focusing on a single assistance area CAC provides (or connects clients with) a wide variety of services on the continuum, from crisis intervention through the realization of the dream of home ownership.
Please Take Our Community Needs Assessment Survey!
Every three years Washington County Community Action Council (CAC) conducts a local needs assessment to receive input from program participants and community partners about the needs of the people CAC serves in the Washington County community. The information we collect is used to evaluate the scope of CAC’s programs and services as well as the reach of our partnerships.
CAC Food Pantry Provides Food To Those In Need In Washington County
CAC is the issuing agency for the Washington County Food Bank Card Program. Clients must make an appointment (same-day, first-come, first-served) with a Crisis Case Manager to apply for a food bank card. The food bank card may be used once a month at CAC’s food pantry or one of the approximately 10 other food pantries in Washington County that participate in the program.
