CAC has a variety of programs that can offer assistance with housing issues. These programs are designed for individuals and families that are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or transitioning from homelessness to permanent housing. Ongoing case management is required with these programs.
- Placement Housing Counseling—The Placement Housing Counselor works with families in transition from homelessness to permanent housing. The family may receive housing information and referrals, housing search & placement assistance, and follow-up services for 1 year.
- Rental Allowance Program—Households in crisis (homeless or at risk of homelessness) may be eligible for the Rental Allowance Program. The program provides rental subsidies for approximately six months, based on family size and level of income.
- Transitional Housing—CAC’s five transitional housing units provide temporary housing for homeless families. While in transitional housing, the family works on goals and objectives to increase income and locate permanent housing.
The following list of landlords and their phone numbers is provided to you by CAC to aid in your search for housing.
CAC does NOT endorse any of the landlords listed. The list is provided to help you organize the details of the various rental properties based on your needs.
